While I spent 15 years building and running my own spa, retirement has brought me back to my roots. Today, I live on my farm, providing a peaceful home for my retired show horses. My competitive spirit hasn’t faded, though—it just moved from the saddle to the euchre table! I also love to travel!

How long have you been playing euchre and what do you like about this card game?
I am actually a fairly new player…I only started playing 5 years ago. Like all new players, it took lots of practice, lots of patience, a lot of advice and lots of losing, which in my mind you don’t ever lose, you learn. Over the years I eventually developed a play style and now when not being dealt 9s, 10s and Qs….I do ok haha

What advice would you give to a beginner euchre player?
My biggest advice would be: Don’t drain your partners trump, go big or go home, what would Hoyle do, and most importantly, pay attention to what has been played so far.

Why Euchre.com, what brought you here?
I love euchre and decided to check out the play store to see what apps were available. Decided to give this one a shot. Been here since 2023

What are the three words that best describe you as a player?
Hmmmmm I would say strategically aggressive, as well as quick and decisive. Unfortunately I tend to not get the greatest deals. I have to get creative at times.

What do you think are the most common mistakes made in Euchre?
The most common is not keeping track of what has been played…

You 100% need both…

Did you manage to make new friends on Euchre.com?
I make new friends all the time! I find that the most fun. I try to play and connect with as many players as possible. Helps to gather play styles for tournies and a possible recruit opportunities for our team. I have found some star players that way! Greatful a lot of them still play with The Leftovers!!!

Who is the partner with whom you played the most memorable games on Euchre.com?
Oh gosh there are so many it’s hard to pick only a few…. within our team, The Leftovers, we have all had very memorable games with one another! Best team in all the land lol
