Play Euchre with friends

Playing Euchre online with friends is so easy. At Euchre.com, you can host a private game and invite only the people you want to play with.

There are many awesome features that you can adjust when creating a game. For example, it is possible to use a custom card deck or even set slightly different Euchre rules.

We will explain all of the options in this article.

1. Create a private game

The only thing you need is to sign-up for free at Euchre.com. From there on, you can host a Euchre game with a few clicks.

First, open the game lobby – you will end up there by default after the registration. Then go to the “Play with friends” room and click on the green button “Host a game”.

You control who can enter the game by enabling the “Private room” option in the settings pop-up. Your table will be visible to the other players, but they won’t be able to join. Only your friends who you invite will be able to enter.

Note that you must be at least level 3 to host a game. So you will have to play a little bit in our regular rooms – Beginners or Advanced.

2. Set the rules

When the “Host a game” pop-up opens, you will have many options to explore.

You may choose to play under different Euchre variations rules, such as:

• Benny rule – adds a joker to the card deck (Best Bower).
• Canadian loner – if your partner is the dealer, you play alone when making trump.
• Stick the dealer – if everyone chooses to pass in both bidding rounds, the dealer must make trump.

You also have the option to set the number of cards in the deck – 24 or 32. Furthermore, select who will be able to play alone – only the maker or everyone.

The other settings are:

• Entry cost – number of chips needed to join the game.
• Prize – the chips that will be rewarded at the end.
• Min level – players must be at that level to enter.
• Points to win – the game ends when a team reaches 7, 10, 11, 15, or 20 points.
• Turn time – how many seconds a player will have to do his turn.
• Voice messages – enable or disable voice messages during the game.
• Shuffle players – mix the teams or not.
• Emoticons/Phrases – turn them on or off.

3. Custom card deck and table

Your room can have a unique atmosphere with custom table background and card deck. Invest some of your in-game gems and get some of our cool decks and backgrounds.

To do it, click on your profile picture in the upper-left corner of the screen. Then in the “Profile” pop-up window, choose the 4th icon (Store). You will see the “Card deck and Table background” section. Select the item you want to have.

When hosting a Euchre online game for your friends, pick the table background and the custom deck you want to use. It will be visible to everyone.

4. Invite friends

Inviting your friends is really simple. After you create a game, click on some of the spots for the players. That place on the table will be reserved for your friend.
