Updates to Clubs & New Custom Tournaments

Club Updates – Building Bigger, Fairer Communities Together

We’ve been listening to your feedback about clubs and are working to make them more inclusive, balanced, and rewarding. Clubs are at the heart of how players connect, and these updates are designed to make sure every community can grow and thrive:

1. Club Size Limit Raised

• Clubs can now grow from 40 to 48 members.
• This gives more players the chance to join larger clubs, build friendships, and take part in thriving, player-driven communities.

2. Purchase Up To the Club Size Limit

• Clubs are no longer restricted to purchasing just 5 extra Seats.
• This change removes the ceiling on growth, allowing every club, big or small, to expand as much as they want, up to the new Seat limit.

3. Lower Seat Prices

• The cost of additional seats has been reduced.
• The old price of $200.00 USD per Seat has been reduced to $100.00 USD per Seat, and for a limited time only (until November 11th, 2025), additional Club Seats will cost $80.00 USD.
• We want clubs of all sizes to be able to welcome more members without worrying about affordability.

4. Rebalanced Club Point Contributions

• Club point contributions in the “Play with friends” lobby have been rebalanced.
• We are expanding the play options for Custom Games, and we needed to raise and lower the club point yield for certain rooms to maintain a balanced environment.
• With larger clubs, this helps keep the competition fair and ensures progress isn’t dominated by just the biggest groups.

5. Level-Based Seat Rewards Removed

• The 2 free Seats for clubs reaching Level 2000 have been retired.
• We heard your concerns that this system created pressure and excluded clubs that weren’t focused on nonstop leveling. Now, every club has a fair chance to grow, no matter their playstyle or pace.

Custom Bracket Tournaments – Making Your Own Competition

We have added a new way for your communities to play! Custom Tournaments will allow you to create larger-scale competitions for you and your friends to participate in.

Here’s what’s Included:

Tournament Size & Rules

• You may choose to play with 8, 16, or 32 players.
• You will be able to set the Entry Fee, Minimum Level, Points to Win, Turn Time, the Number of Cards in the deck, and Loner rules.
• You will also be able to set the Benny rule, the Canadian Loner rule, the Stick the Dealer rule, whether or not the tournament is Private, whether or not to use Emojis/Phrases, and what Card Deck/Table to use.
