We are excited to announce the Virtual World Euchre Championship, taking place on May 22, 23, and 24 – a high-stakes online event that brings together skilled players from around the world, all competing for one title: Virtual World Euchre Champion.

Organized on Euchre.com in collaboration with the World Euchre Federation, this event represents a major step forward for online Euchre.

1. The Biggest Online Euchre Event

This is a single-elimination pairs tournament, meaning every match counts. One loss, and the run is over. Every decision, every call, and every trick can be the difference between advancing or going home.

Teams will be placed into brackets, each with scheduled match times across the three-day event. This structure ensures:

• Fast-paced progression
• Clear tournament paths
• High-pressure matchups
• A true championship atmosphere

From the opening rounds to the final table, the stakes will only get higher.

2. How to Register

Note: The form should be filled out by only ONE member of a Team that is interested in playing, not by both players.

1. Register on the platform if you haven’t already.
– You can register on the platform using your Google Account, your Facebook Account, or your Email address.

2. Update Your Profile.
– Clicking on your Avatar in the top-left corner of the screen will open your profile.
– DO NOT make any changes after completing the Registration Form. Doing so may interfere with your team’s successful registration.

3. Navigate to the Events tab.
– The tab is located on the main page below the “Play With Friends” tab.

4. Click on the pop-up banner.
– A banner leading to the registration form will appear. Click on it to navigate to the form.

5. Fill out the Registration Form
– You will need your username, your partner’s username, and the team name you wish to use during the tournament. Usernames or Team names that violate our terms of service will be denied registration.

6. Accept the Friend Request from the verified Admin account.
– You will receive a Friend Request from the Admin within 2 business days.
– Look for the Blue Checkmark in the Admin’s username to show that it is a verified account.

7. Check the Team Registry on May 20th on Euchre.com or our Events Page.
– We will post the brackets a few days before the event. Be sure to check them to see if your team made the cut.

8. Go online 20 minutes before your play time and wait for the invitation.
– You will receive an invitation from the Administrator before your start time. Make sure to be online and in the game before then.

9. Accept the invite and enjoy the tournament.
– After accepting the invite, DO NOT refresh the page, DO NOT click on the “Leave” Button, and DO NOT close the app. These will cause you to leave and your team to forfeit their spot in the tournament.

DISCLAIMER: PLEASE NOTE THAT REGISTRATION DOES NOT GUARANTEE PARTICIPATION. THERE ARE A LIMITED NUMBER OF SEATS. IT IS ONLY A FORM FOR INTENT TO PLAY.
TEAMS WILL BE ADDED ON A FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVED BASIS.
IF A TEAM MISSES THEIR START TIME, THEY WILL BE DISQUALIFIED AND THE NEXT TEAM IN THE QUEUE WILL TAKE THEIR PLACE.

3. Limited Spots – First Come, First Served

Once registration is complete, all selected teams will be announced, along with their assigned brackets and match schedules.
If you want in, you’ll need to act fast.

4. Tournament Structure

The maximum number of participants will be 256.

Each Bracket will compete in a single-elimination-style event. The top two teams of each Bracket will advance to the finals Bracket on Sunday, with the first-place team receiving an additional reward.

On Sunday, all of the teams that have progressed in the event will compete in the Finals Bracket. The rules will remain the same, concluding in the winners of the event.
