How long have you been playing euchre and what do you like about this card game?
I’ve been playing euchre for about 15 years. It’s a fun game… I like the strategy involved.

What advice would you give to a beginner euchre player?
I’d tell a beginner to practice/practice/practice, and remember it’s a partner game… players win and lose as a team. Euchre is JUST a game ~ have fun! Robert Louis Stevenson said, “Life is not a matter of holding good cards, but of playing a poor hand well”. Do your best and count on your partner for some assistance, but remember you have no control over the cards you’re dealt… you can’t always win, but you can always show good sportsmanship.

Why Euchre.com, what brought you here?
I joined VIPGames.com during Covid (March 2020). When Casualino started Euchre.com, their administration (at that point in time) invited select VIP players to migrate, gifting them with HUGE amounts of coins. (I was not “part of the chosen ones” to receive that lavish offer, so I continued playing at VIP.) Eventually, I decided to try euchre here, met some great people, and after playing a few games with IwonB4, he graciously invited me to join Smells Like Team Spirit. Thank you Iwon… I’ve had a great time being part of SLTS!

Likes having fun

What do you think are the most common mistakes made in Euchre?
Playing too conservatively

Oh, this is a difficult question to answer since I’ve played memorable games with several people here… since I have to name one partner/most memorable, that is 7SeasSailor.
